2. Go on learning object clauses. 3. Talk about the fashion show. Ⅱ. Teaching aids: Multi-media, a recorder, a blackboard Ⅲ. Teaching procedure:

Step 1. Review

1. Individual work. Show some pictures of clothes to review the names of clothes the students have learnt. 2. Free talk about the pictures in 3 and have students listen to A and B in 3 to complete the tasks. Check the answers with the teacher.

Step 2. Presentation

1. Present pictures of fashion shows.

2. Free talk about the fashion shows to lead to the object clause and explain it. Lead to 1a. 3. Let students listen to 1a and answer the following questions.

Question 1: Who watched the fashion show last month? Question 2: What id Kangkang think of the fashion show? Question 3: When will another fashion show start?

Step 3. Consolidation

1. Have students listen to 1a again and complete the sentences in 1b 2.Have students read 1a and number the sentences in 1c to make a conversation.

3. Let students underline the object clauses in 1a. Sum up the usages of the object clauses. Then have students read the usages.

Step 4.Practice 1. Pair work. Let students look at the pictures in 1c, and then ask and answer in pairs after the example. Finish 1c. 2.Make students choose the best answer to consolidate the knowledge the

students have learnt.

Step 5. Summary 1. Master some useful sentences. 2. Sum up the usages of the object clauses.

Step 6. Homework 1.Recite 1a & 2.
