一、教学目标Teaching aims：

1、学生能掌握单词：balloon. 掌握短语：at the supermarket, buy…for…, have a birthday party, on the phone, be careful. 掌握句型：The balloons are flying away. I can’t carry everything. Who can help me? I can help you./Sorry, I can’t. 2、能用现在进行时描述自己在做的事儿及能否帮助别人的原因。

3、学生能朗读课文，能进行角色表演。

4、培养学生乐于关心别人，帮助别人的品格。

二、教学重难点

1、掌握重点单词、短语和句子

2、学生能够运用现在进行时态描述场景，会表达向他人寻求帮助，并根据客观情况说明自己能否向他人提供帮助。

三、教学设计

Step1. Warming up

1、Daily Greetings. 2、Say a chant.(Activity1)

Step2. Presentation 1. Show the title. (Show some pictures of balloons, the balloons are flying away)(出示单词balloon，短语fly away.) 2. Fast reading. (Read Activity 2, circle the new words, phrases, key sentences, and sentences with “be doing”) Check the answers and practice “be doing”

3. Listen and answer. (1).Where is Simon's mum? (2).What is Simon’s mum doing?

本节课的主题是学习在日常生活中怎样向他人求助，或者根据自身情况，在收到求助后应该怎么回答。通过一系列贴近学生日常生活的活动，和学生亲自参与设计，完成的小情景剧，可以极大的刺激学生的学习积极性和效率，加深对所学知识的印象。
