2. Teach the new word: stand on one foot T does the action of standing on one foot and teach the new word. 3.T shows a picture and asks: What’s he doing? Ss: He’s reading. T: Yes, he is reading a story aloud. Teach the new word: read a story aloud. 4. Teach the other new words in the same way.

5. T shows some word cards. Let the Ss make some sentences with the new words. S1: I like playing the piano. S2: He painted a picture yesterday. ... Step 3. Happy practice 1. Listen to the tape and repeat . 2. T shows the pictures and Ss say the words. 3. T shows the pictures quickly and Ss say the words together.

4. A game—guess，guess，guess.

Lead-in. T : Do you like dancing? Ss: Yes/No. T: Anne can’t dance, either. She wanted to dance like Lingling. Do you want to learn dancing with her? Ss: Yes. T: Please listen to the tape and try to answer my question: How did Anne dance? 2.
