一、教材分析：

本课时通过Duck与Old Tree之间的趣味对话,进一步巩固加深了形容词比较级的运用.再让学生根据对话的内容完成练习:选择,填空,回答问题,由简到难,让学生从独立思考到小组讨论,既培养了学生独立思考的能力,又培养了小组合作的意识,提高了学生对英语的学习兴趣. 二、教学目标：

1.基础知识：

学习单词：countryside , lower , shadow , become . （2）

全体学生能运用：It’s getting lower and lower but his shadow is getting longer and longer . You’re older and smarter than me . （3）

巩固形容词的比较级的运用。

2. 基本技能：

（1）通过学习，逐步巩固学生灵活运用比较级的能力。

（2）全体学生能模仿课文与他人进行比较。

（3）能用形容词的比较级描述自己与他人的变化。

3. 综合素质：

（1）全体学生能运用比较级比较自己与他人发生的变化，并能积极地运用所学英语进行表达与交流。

（2）学生能过在真实的语言情境中，敢于开口，乐于进行信息交流。

（3）培养学生独立思考的能力及小组合作意识。

三、教学重难点及突破：

重点：

1、能读懂Read and write 部分的对话，并能在情景中熟练运用

2、全体学生能掌握重点单词及句型。

3、全体学生能运用比较级比较自己与他人发生的变化。
