Look! What did Grandpa Chen have? Grandpa Chen had a sock. What happened to the sock? It had a big hole in it.

What would Grandpa Chen do with the sock?

(Would he throw it away? Would he mend the hole?)

He would make a sock puppet. Who would help? （Picture 2）

Lee went to get buttons.

What would they do with the buttons?

The sock was a lot of fun.

The children enjoyed it. But do you know whose sock it is? Look at Mum. What was she doing? （Was she looking for something?）

Mum was looking for her sock. What might she say? “Where is my sock? I cannot see my sock.”

Listening and Imitating The first time, just listen. The second time, listen, mark the tones and imitate.
