（2）To practice the Ss’ ability of working in pairs or groups.

Teaching Difficult Points : This lesson has a large vocabulary. It’s difficult for the Ss to make sentences with the new words.

Cards of food, some candies, some noodles and CAI teaching courseware.

Teaching Procedure:

Step1: Leading in 1.

Greetings 2.

Sing the English song together:Apple Tree. 3.

Revision:Magic eyes.

Speak out the words : cake,milk,fish,bread,banana,orange,apple,cookie and egg. Step2: Presentation 1.

Teach the new word: breakfast and the new sentences: what’s for breakfast？I have….

The PPT will present a clock. T：Look at the clock,please.What time is it?

Ss: It’s half past seven.

T: I am hungry now. It’s time for breakfast.

Then teach the new sentences: What’s for breakfast？I have….

2. Teach the new word: noodles and dumplings.

T: What’s for your breakfast?

Ss:面条。

Then the PPT will present the picture of noodles.

T：I often have noodles. But this morning, I didn’t have noodles. I made Jiaozi. We can also call them dumplings.

The PPT will present the picture of dumplings.

Teach the new word: lunch and the new sentences: what’s for lunch？I have….

The PPT will present a clock. T：Look at the clock again,please.What time is it?

4.Teach the new word: rice, soup, meat, and chicken. To arouse their study motivation. First show the picture of soup, then show the pictures of meat and chicken. In order to encourage the Ss’

Practice

and consolidation

1. What’s missing. Give 2 pictures in order and ten seconds,then ask them to find out what’s missing.

2. Hit the mouse. Look and speak out the wards quickly.

3. Pair work. The students ask and answer in pairs of two using the sentences: What’s for breakfast/lunch？I have….

4. Group work.Give each group a card.Ask and answer question one by one.Then choose some groups to act it out. Step４
