Warm-up 1、

Today I’ll introduce a friend to you, I think you know him. Do you know who he is? 2、

Show the picture about superman and ask the students who he is.(superman) 3、

Show the sentences. 4、

Review the famous places about China. 5、

The superman thank you for help, so take you to visit the UK. 6、

Show the picture about Chinatown and the White House. 7、

Show: the UN building 二、

New concepts 1、

Show the picture and let the students guess what this is. 2、

Teach the word: the UN building and write it on the blackboard. 3、

Ask the students: Do you want to visit the UN building? And write the else words on the

blackboard. Practise the sentence. When the students say yes and show the sentences: OK! Let’s go! 4、

Teach the words about”UN”. U= United, N= Nations. Write on the blackboard. 5、

Introduce the logo about the UN.(联合国的徽章是一个从北极看去的世界地图，周围由一个橄榄枝圆环围绕着的图案。) 6、

Show the flags. Ask the students: Do you know how many flags, and then let’s know in the text. 7、

Show the picture and ask. And show the pigeon.（鸽子带来的是和平，还有橄榄枝，以此引出peace）

Show the sentence and write on the blackboard: The UN wants to make peace in the world. And practise the sentence. 9、

Show the picture and introduce else about the UN.(成立、成员国)Teach: member state就是成员国。And write them on the blackboard.(介绍前两个句子。) 10、Let the students listen and tell me how many member states there are.(193) 11、Read follow the DVD. 三、Practise 1、示范读。
