Unit 5 My father is great. 教学目标:

1.

能听、说、读、写、单词driver, doctor, nurse, pupil, know, many, thing, job, place, really, taxi,并能将其正确、熟练的运用于日常交际中。

2.

能听、说、读、写核心语言What’s his/ her job? He’s /She’s a---并能在真实语境中得体的运用。

3.

能在四线三格内正确书写What’s his job? He’s a teacher.

4.

能独立完成Try to do 部分的观察、书写和汇报的任务。

5.

在课堂交流中,认真倾听与思考,积极运用所学英语表达与交流。

教学重点:

掌握并正确运用What’s his/her job? He’s/She’s a---对他人的职业进行询问及介绍。

教学难点:

对He knows many… 句子的理解。

学情分析:

本单元是第五单元,主要讲述生活中的职业。学生们在此之前曾学过teacher,students,player,worker四个职业,因此对于本单元贴近学生生活的职业doctor,nurse,driver,学生很容易理解和掌握。但是对他们职业的特点了解的不多。尤其对动词的单三形式理解起来比较费劲。因此在教学中对于He knows many things. He knows many places.需要强调和解释。

课前准备:

课件,有关职业的道具(方向盘,白大褂,听诊器,注射器等)

教学过程

Unit 5 My father is great. 一、

Greetings 1.

Ask and answer: Who is she?

She is Liu Gang’s neighbor.

Is she a model?

No, she is a basketball player. 二、

New words and sentence pattern 1.

T:

She is a basketball player. What’s her job?

She’s a basketball player.

Let the students guess the meaning of the sentence ”What’s her job? She’s a basketball player.”

Then ,ask and answer the sentences some times. 2.

Show the photo of Yao Ming.

T: Who is he ? Is he a basketball player?

S: Yes, he is.

T: What’s his job? He is a basketball player.

Let the students guess the meaning of the sentences. 3.
