Warming up Guessing Game: What are they doing? Step two—

Find Out Language Task 1: Practise making dialogues and work out the rules for basic structures

Activity1: Picture Market: Each group chooses one picture to talk about. You have three minutes to prepare, then choose two members to make a presentation(展示) on the stage.

Task 2: work out the rules for the changes of verbs.

Activity 2: Help the Lost Kids: The kids below are lost, please find a sweet home for them. Don’t forget to dress them with “-ing” before they go back homes.

Activity3: Grammar Hospital:Because of the changeable weather in spring, the Grammar Hospital is busy with patients these days. A patient called Mr. Present Continuous Tense (Mr. Present) comes to the hospital for doctor. Please help him with his problems.

At this moment, my family is doing different things. I am reading English newspapers while my brother is reading Chinese poems. My dad is driveing his car to pick up my mum, because she is shoping for food in the supermarket now. What are my grandparents doing? Oh, they are watching TV in the living room. Where is my cat? Is it sleepping on the sofa? No, it isn’t. It is lieing on the floor next to my grandparents.
