Present the usages of the modal verbs can. （1）can表示具有某种能力，意为“能；会” ,其后加动词原形。

（2）can表示请求许可，意为“可以”。

（3）—Can +主语+动原…?

—Yes,主语+ can./—

No,主语+ cannot/can't.

for the same purpose. “May”can be interchanged

with"can”,but it's a little more polite to use “may”.
