Unit 7 Food Festival Topic 3 I cooked the most successfully. Section B

教学设计思路：

本节课的课型为听说课。主要活动为Section B的1a和2。热身环节欣赏歌曲，学习新词汇lemon同时将学生带回到课堂。Revision环节学生编对话表演复习上节课学过的就餐用语。Pre-listening 环节里首先学习词汇。因为本课新词汇大多是表示食物和饮料的名词，所以教师可以通过PPT展示图片来教学新单词。学生通过采访同伴最喜欢的食物和饮料完成1c的词汇图，在采访的过程中可以借助1a的菜单。之后提出问题导入新课并阅读1b表格预测答案。在while-listening环节里，将1b分解为由易到难的两个任务。Post-listening环节里，首先要求学生跟读和模仿，注重语音语调和感情的运用。然后引导学生划出电话订餐的功能句并同桌之间进行操练。最后，两人一组操练2的对话，巩固电话订餐和外出就餐的功能句。并以组间竞赛的方式表演展示。

Stage 1 (3mins)：Getting students ready for learning Greet the students and get them ready for learning. Sing the song

T: Good morning, everyone!

T: Let’s start this lesson with an English song

T: What a beautiful song it is!

Remark：这一环节的目的是要创造学习英语的氛围并使学生静下心来，开始新的学习。可以采用多种方式，如唱歌、游戏、值日报告、自由讨论等。

Stage 2（5mins)：Revision Ask the students to act out the conversations about dinning out. T: Boys and girls, before the new lesson, let’s review what we learned yesterday. Please work in groups and make conversations about dinning out. T: I’d like some groups to act out your conversations. Who would like to have a try? T: G1 did a good job. Especially their intonation and liaison. Clap for them! Remark：重视交际用语的语音语调、连读及感情的运用。

Stage 3（10mins)：Pre – listening Learn the new words（PPT）. Wine,bean,tofu,sausage,carrot Finish 1c. T: What are your favorite food and drinks? Now interview your partners about this question and complete the word map of 1c. The menu on Page73 may help you. T: Now go through the form of 1b. And pay more attention to the important information you should catch while listening

Lead to 1a.

T: Everybody likes delicious food. So I think the food festival is a good chance to taste delicious food. If you want to go to the festival, but you have no time, what will you do? (Ss: We can order a meal by phone.) T: Good idea! Do you know how to order a meal by phone?( Ss: I don’t know.)

T: It’s doesn’t matter. We’ll learn to order a meal by phone in this lesson. Before listening, let’s read the menu in 1a. You can circle your favorite food and drinks. Remark：1.培养学生利用单词表自学单词的能力。

Stage4（5mins)：While - listening

Play the tape recording of 1a.

T: Listen to the conversation for the first time, and then answer the questions: (1) Who is ordering a meal by phone? (2)What’s the address? (S1: Mr. Zhao is ordering a meal by phone. S2: His address is No. 62 on Beisihuan Road.) Play the tape recording of 1a again to finish 1b.

T: Listen again and complete the table in 1b. T: What did Mr. Zhao order? S1: He ordered fried rice, roast chicken and a bottle of lemon tea. T: Did he order some dessert or soup?( S2: No, he didn’t.) Remark：将1b分解为由易到难两个听力任务。

Stage 5（17mins)：Post- listening

Play the tape recording of 1a again and get the Ss to imitate the dialog. T: Now follow the tape and try to imitate. Please pay attention to the stress and intonation. (跟读和模仿，注重功能句语音语调和情感的运用) Ask the students to read 1a and underline the expressions about ordering meals by phone.

T: Sometimes we may need to order meals by phone. I’m sure you can order a meal by phone now. Now read 1a again and underline the useful expressions about ordering meals by phone. T: You can practice 1a with your partners. Please pay attention to the stress and intonation. Finish 2. T: We have learned how to express when we eat out or order meals by phones. Let’s practice by following the examples in 2 with the words of foods in 1a. T: Let’s have a competition. You can choose one conversation and act it out. The group which pays more attention to the intonation and emotion will be the winner.

Stage 6（5mins)：Summarizing and assigning HMK

Encourage the Ss to summarize the key points

T: Class will be over soon. We should summarize what we have learned in this lesson. Let’s begin!
