Topic1

We’re going on a three-day visit to Mount Tai. Section C1.Knowledge aims: （1）复习巩固动词不定式的用法。

（2）复习询问价格、时间、原因等问句。

教学目标

Stage 1：Getting students ready for learning Step1. Class activity

1.通过去泰山旅游的花费引入讨论话题What should you do if you need so much money

for your trip?

T: Each of the students needs at least ¥550 for the trip. That’s a lot of money.

T: Make money by yourself? But how? Ss: I’ll do some housework, then my parents will pay me……. 在学生提出各种筹钱的方法时，老师要在黑板上列举出来并作适当的点评以鼓励学生开口。为后面学习3a,3b做准备。

Present some key words on the Bb and encourage the Ss to make sentences with them. T: We have discussed the best way to raise money. Next, let’s practice infinitives. Here are some

key words, you should make sentences with them. You may follow the example. Example : want, buy I want to buy a bike. Key words: 1.

Pre-reading 1.Present a few pieces of playing cards to teach the new words. T: Look, boys and girls! What is it?

Ss: playing cards! T: Right! Then what’s the letter on this card?

Ss: It’s Q! T: Do you know what it stands for?

Ss: ... T: It stands for “queen”. How about this one?

Ss: It’s K! T: What does it stand for then?

Ss:... T: It stands for “king”.

2. Put some cards into a box and encourage some students to play a “lucky draw” game.

T: Good news, class! We will play a game. It’s called “lucky draw”. You can come to the front and draw one card from the box. If a boy draws a piece of “K”, he will be the king of today and if a girl draws a piece of “Q”, she will be the queen of today. The kings and the queens won’t do today’s homework. But you have to pay one yuan for the draw. We will use the money to buy some sweets!

Only three kings and queens! Who wants to try? T: Ok! Let’s see who is lucky enough today!

Stage4：

While-reading 1.Let the Ss read 1a and do 1b, 1c.

T: Do you enjoy the “lucky draw” game?

Ss: Yes! T: What’s more, you can enjoy the sweets tomorrow!

Ss: Great! T: Now, please look at the picture on page 31. Can you guess what they are doing?

通过玩抽扑克牌游戏导入到单词和课文的学习。

培养学生快速Ss:I think they are playing a game as we do. 阅读获取信息T: You are very clever. Next, you will read 1a and find out how they play the game .But you 的能力，完成have to finish one task while reading. You have to guess the meanings of the words in 1b. So 1b 和1c.

2.T: You have guessed the words correctly. Now read 1a again. Let’s move to 1 c. What’s the

correct order?

Stage 5：Post-reading 1.Let the Ss read 1a, underline the infinitives and deal with the difficult points. T: You have read the passage once and got the main idea. Next, underline the infinitives and understand difficult points. T: Fine. You have found out all the infinitives. Now, look at the Bb, what do they mean? T: “are sold” and “is drawn” are called passive voice. In Chinese, it is called“被动语态”. If you don’t understand today, don’t worry. We will learn it in Grade Three.

T: Look! I have another question for you. Look at the sentence “When the student arrives in the morning ...greets ...and carries the student’s books”. Can we use “will arrive, will greet and will carry” instead?

.T: Sounds good! We can use “will greet, will carry” instead of “greets, carries”, but we can’t use “will arrive” instead of “arrives”. We will learn this grammar in next topic.

Next, I’d like you to retell the passage according to the key words or expressions. You have 2 minutes to prepare. Possible key words/expressions: Common-raise money-special ways-think of-King or Queen for a day-dollar-ticket ... 2.让完成书本32页2的练习，并讲解当中的重难点。

Read and complete the letter with the correct forms of the given words.

让学生读课文，找出动词不定式的句子以巩固其用法。老师解释难点句子助其扫清阅读障碍。
