Unit 7 Food Festival Topic 1 we’re preparing for a food festival Srction A 一．语言知识目标：

1）掌握以下单词和词组：

task, poster, touch, get in touch with, try one’s best, success, imagine, soup, cookie, pancake, set, set the table,bline. 2）掌握语法：宾语从句的用法. I think (that)we can have it on ourschool playground on Sunday. 3)情感目标：通过本课的学习，让学生积极参与各种有意义的课外活动，了解中国和其他国家的饮食文化，让学生们在活动中能锻炼有集体观念，懂得团结合作，培养乐于助人的精神. 4)技能目标：培养学生能用宾语从句表达在美食节上所设想制作的美食。

②理解和掌握由that引导的宾语从句的用法. 2）教学难点：

教学过程：

Step 1. Warming-up and Lead in: 1.(让学生回忆一些食品词汇的表达) T：What is your favorite food ? My favorite food is noodle,what about you ? S1:My favorite food is .... T:What is your favorite drink ? S2:My favorite drink is.... 2.（根据展示图片让学生猜它相应的的表达）

1）T: Please look at the pictures and match the following expressions through your guess : make tea make chocolate cookies set the table cook soup make biscuits Make fruit juice make cheese pies make strawberry pancakes make a poster 2）Check the answers with Ss. 3）Teach new words to Ss and make sure they can master them. 4）Show the question in the blackboard Ss: T: If we have a food festival next Saturday , I shall make some apple pies for this party . What about you,boys and girls ? S1: I will make some bread.. S2: ................. Step 2. Presentation 1.(让学生继续讨论为美食节准备食物的话题，导入宾语从句，向学生介绍宾语从句的结构及用法) T：OK！Do you think(that) we need to make tea in this food festival ? S1:Yes,I think so / No, I don’t think so . T:If you say no, you can continue to say: I think (that) they need to cook soup. 2.（展示人物:Craig kieburger的图片）

T: Do you know about Craig kielburger ? Ss:No,I don’t. T:OK! I shall introduce him shortly ,We will learn 1a to know bout more this boy , and please listen to the

recorder with the following questions: 1)Where is Craig Kieburger from ? 2)What did he do for the poor children ? 3)What’s problem with him now ? 4)Why do kangkang、Michael、Maria and Jane want to have a food festival ? 3.Play the recorder of 1a , ask Ss to listen carefully first . 4.Play 1a again , let Ss read after the recorder and pay attention to pronunciation and intonation. 5.Ask Ss to crycle the others new words and phrases. 5.Check the answers with Ss . 6.Ask Ss to underline the object clauses in this conversation and read altogether. Step 3.consolidation 1.Retell the story by filling in the blanks. Practice 1..Give Ss two minutes to make a similar sentence , then ask several Ss to act it out. 2.Play the recorder of 3 for twice, ask Ss to listen the conversations and match the people with what we can do for them . Then , check the answers with Ss. 3.Show the pictures on the screen . Work in pairs , let Ss discuss what the food festival will be like with the help of the pictures and example. Then ask some pairs of Ss to act it out . Example: A: What will the food festival be like ? Can you imagine it ? B: I imagine (that) we will prepare many delicious foods. C: ... Step 5: Project 1.Ask the Ss to summarize and consolidate what we have learnt in this lesson with the help of PPT. T: All right , the classwill be over soon . Let’s summarizewhat we have learnt this lesson . S1:We learned some new words and phrases:try one’s best, get in touch with, success, imagine, soup, cheese, biscuit, pancake... S2: We learned the object clauses.
