一、【新课导入】

Step 1 Introduction 1. Greet the students and get them ready for learning. Students focus their attention on the teacher. 2.

Enjoy the song I love Beijing Tian’anmen together.Let the students sing with the radio. 3.The teacher introduce her traveling frog Guagua to students and show some postcards of Tian’anmen Square to them.Lead to the new lesson.

二、【讲授新课】

Step 2 Presentation 1.Teach the new word of monument by showing the picture of Monument to the People’s Heroes.Teach the new word of rostrum by showing the picture of Tian’anmen Rostrum.Teach the new words of Chairman and memorial by showing the picture of Chairman Mao Memorial Hall. 2.Learn all great buildings in the Tian’anmen square. 3.Read these phrases of great buildings in the Tian’anmen square loudly and remember them. 4.Turn to page 38, match these great buildings with their name and then check the answer together. 5.Show a picture of Wechat recording between Guagua and Mrs. Liang. Guagua:

Mr.s Liang，I want to play a game with you！

Guagua: :Now I stand to the south of National Museum. And I also stand to the southeast of Tian'anmen Rostrum. Guagua: Can you guess Where I am？

6.Help the teacher find out where is Guagua . 7.The teacher shows a picture of directions on the screen. Let the students tell the nouns of direction they know. And then teach the new words of direction. 8.Students learn the new words of direction and remember them by play game.who raise the hand fastest and answer correctly will get a lollipop. 9.According to the directions on the screen, find the direction of Guagua.

Step 3 Consolidation 1.

The teacher guides the students to fill in the blanks of 3b. Ask some students write their answers on the blackboard and then check the answer together. 2.

Look at the screen ,pay attention to the circle words:in、to.... 3.

The teacher shows a map of China. Give three examples of in/on/to.students observe the examples and discuss by groups to answer why. One student of each group stand and give their ideas.Then , Teacher present the usage of the prepositions of position (1) in the+方位名词+ of

Step 4 Practice 1.

The teacher show a map of China.

Let the students choose the correct preposition of in/on/to according to examples and pictures. 2.

Play a game to exercise what we learned today.

Design an exercise which includes six questions. Each questions has different prices ,one hundred yuan stands for one lollipop,each group only has one chance to choose a question ,if they answer correctly ,they can get it .If not, they will lose chance.
