Show a picture about Danny and Peter. They are talking about a poster. Ask questions: Who are they? Where are they? What are they doing? Look at the poster. There is a new club in their school. What club is it? (Language: join the badminton club) 2.

Show another picture. They are talking about Alice. While-task procedure

Who’s she? Does she like playing badminton? Will she join the club? 3.

Show picture 3. Alice, Danny and Peter are talking in the classroom. Where are they? What are they doing? (Language: talk with Would you like to ....? Sure. I’d love to.) 4.

- Hello, my name is .... Nice to meet you. - Nice to meet you, too. Look at the pictures and think about the questions. Listen and follow. Learn new expressions. Act the dialogue out in groups and perform it in front of the class.

Present the dialogue with pictures and let students talk about it. They will gradually know what happens as the pictures move on. They will learn how to talk about someone with the third perspective, such as “would she like to .....? Will she ....?”

Work in groups and make a poster. Make a new dialogue about asking someone to join the club. Practise with new expressions and put them into usage.

Complete the poster and write an introduction about your club. Homework Ask your family members about their likes and dislikes and write a short introduction about them.
