2 Teaching Objective:

Skim to get the gist of the story ;

Read carefully to understand the meaning of the words in the context ; To understand the difficult words with the help of the pictures , the actions by the teachers ;

Read carefully to get the details of the “match”and answer the questions ;

(4) To retell the story with the help of pictures , key words ……

(5) To talk about feeling and why

3 Teaching key points :

(1) To understand the story and answer the questions ;

5 Teaching procedures :

(1)Greeting ( eg . Are you happy today ? …… )

(2) Enjoy a song “ The way I feel “

(3) Introduce T’s little friends , talking about their activities and feeling .引入教学难点词:kick , bounce ( bounces )

(4) 通过(3)活动,填表:How do my little friends feel ? Why ? How does Miss Fang feel ? Why ?

How do you feel today ? Why ?

(5) 通过表格的填写,引入Chen Jie , Lisa 和Pete ,并让学生看图理解他们的心情和情绪产生的原因。引入教学难点词football match , between 。(6) 通过活动(5)可知Pete 因将要观看球赛而兴奋,让学生跟着Pete一起观看球赛。引入学习Let’s read 。

(7) 教学Le t’s read

a. 观看Le t’s read 部分录像,初步理解故事内容,回答问题;Which class won the game at last ? 帮助学生理解won 和比赛的结果。

b. 布置阅读任务,先呈现问题,让学生带着问题细读Let’s read 。

c. 讲解问题答案,通过讲解,教学难点词goal,渗透阅读技巧的训练。教学文段的前半部分。

d. 让学生找出难点词并教学,如passes , another , hooray , laughing at ……

e. 跟读整篇文段,着重讲解:The ball flies into John’s face . But the ball bounces off his head . It flies into the goal .

f. 回答文段后的两个问题。

g. 继续前面提及的填表活动,师生一起填写球赛中Class 1和Class 3的心情和情绪产生的原因。

(8)拓展,通过阅读一个文段,了解Jack 的情绪及情绪产生的原因,完成阅读练习。
