教材分析

本册教材是外研版新标准英语（三年级起点）六年级下册。本课内容是第九模块第二单元Wishing you happiness everyday. 话题延续上一单元，继续学习表达毕业祝福。上一单元已经学习口头表达毕业祝福，本单元通过爸爸和玲玲的对话，引导学生学习如何书面表达告别信。课文中玲玲的做法给学生提供一个初步的参与，学生可在此基础上丰富内容，适当创新，形成具有自己特色的告别信。课后，教师会帮助大家搜集所有的告别信，制成毕业纪念册，留作永久的回忆。

学情分析

通过近四年的英语学习，六年级的孩子已经具备了一定的语言能力，有一定的语言知识储备，用口头语言表达简单的祝福难度不大，但是如果写一封逻辑清晰、充满情感的告别信，就有一定难度了。需要教师创设适当情境，结合课文内容和学生实际，启发学生用英语思维，为学生整理写作框架结构，使其有逻辑地表达自己的情感。
