八年级学生正处于青春期，特别看重努力的价值和别人的肯定，教师应对学生进行归因指导，及时评价让他们体会到成就感。学生课前已经做了预习，但两级分化较大，学生对本节课由浓厚的兴趣，但英语的听说能力还有待加强。

重点难点：

重点：1.Learn to talk about directions by using “in,on and to”. 2.Talk about the great buildings in the Tian’men Square. 难点：1.How to make the students take an active part in talking about directions. 2.How to organize the students to do some listening .

教学过程

导入

Lead to the new lesson by using a picture of

Tian’an men Square. Then we talk about the buildings, National Museum, Tian’an men Rostrum, Great Hall of the People, Monument to the People’s Heroes and Chairman Mao Memorial Hall.

Step 1

Learn and master the new words.(north,east,west and wait) Step 2

Listen to the tape carefully,and number the pictures ,then check the answers. Step 3

Listen again and write down the time when people built these

buildings . Then check the answers. Step 4

Match the names with the buildings on the map. And fill in the 讲授
