本课的内容主要是谈论职业，通过本课的学习，让学生学会谈论身边人的各种职业、工作场所以及去工作的方式。

教学目标

： 1、能听懂听力并正确答题。

2、学会在具体情景中使用下列句型谈论职业

What does Mike’ uncle do? How does he go to work? Where does he work? 3、能够理解对话大意，并用正确的意群及语音、语调朗读课文。

教学过程：

Step 1. Warm up 1.Sing a song “What do you want to do?”

2.Greetings and talking about their family’s jobs. 3.Look at the pictures and talk about there jobs. Step 2. Let’s guess 1.T: I have a friend. Do you want to know him? Let’s guess.

What does he do? Where does he work?

How does he go to work? 2.Ask and answer in pairs. Step 3. Let’s try T: Miss Li has a friend.He is a teacher. Mike has a new friend, too. His name is Xiao Yu . Mike and Xiao Yu are going home now. They are talking about Xiao Yu’s uncle. What does Xiao Yu’s uncle look like? Does he often take Xiao Yu to school?

How does Xiao Yu’s uncle go to work? Step 4. Let’s talk 1.Listen and answer We know Xiao Yu’suncle is a police officer, and he goes to work by car. But how about Mike’s uncle? Do you know? What does Mike’s uncle do? How does he go to work? Where does he work? 2.Check the answers and learn the new phrases. He is a fisherman. He sees lots of fish. He works at sea. He works on a boat.
