A: Greetings between the teacher and the students. T: Good morning, boys and girls. Ss: Good morning, Mr. Tang B: Ask one student to come to the front and lead the reading. C: Recite the points which we have learned.

Step 1: Warming up. (1) Review the words of fruits that we have learned before.

“apple, banana, pear, orange”(show the Ppt)

T: What fruit can you see?

S: apple, banana, pear, orange. (2) Based on the above activity, the teacher will continue to ask

“Do you like apples?” and the students will answer “Yes, I do. or No, I don’t.” If you are hungry .What do you want ? Introduce the title “Unit 4 food”(show the Ppt )

Step 2: Present new teaching points. (show the Ppt) The teacher says that I’m hungry. And then, let the students look at the slide show and imitate the pronunciation after the teacher. In the end, ask the students to read the sentence one by one. And If you’re hungry, what do you want?

(show the Ppt) teach the words “rice, vegetables, noodles”. Read it one by one. And use these words to make sentences “ I want rice. I want vegetables.I want noodles.”Emphasize the pronunciation and intonation.In groups, practice the words and sentences, at this

time, the teacher and the group leaders will help them. In the end, make conversations. (show the CD-ROMS)“I’m hungry. I want rice and vegetables.I’m hungry. I want noodles.”

Repeat it and in groups, practice it, the teacher and the group leaders will help them. Try their best to recite the conversations.

Advantage: The students can grasp the new words and the new sentences. They can grasp the new dialogue and act it out very vividly. They like acting in front of the classroom with their friends. Disadvantage: A few students are shy to come to the front to act. Improvement Measures: Ask them more times to the front and practice more.
