Teaching aims:
1.
本课要求学生能够理解掌握并运用单词spring, summer, fall, winter, sunny, rainy, windy, cloudy及新句型What’s the weather like in…?It’s … in …谈论关于天气的话题。
2.
创设学生熟悉的场景并引导学生如何询问和回答天气情况。

正确理解并熟练运用本课单词和句型。

学情分析
小学五年级的孩子活泼好动,喜欢尝试新鲜事物,有着丰富的想象力,表现欲强。他们知道一些国家和城市,也掌握了生活中一些有关天气的现象。他们掌握了一些简单的英语知识,能听懂并模仿简单的英语,能参与简单的英语教学活动,如游戏、表演等。在本节课的教学设计中,我主要通过ppt,flash动画等直观地创设教学情境,利用活动、游戏及表演等多种教学手段进行教学,让学生们积极主动地参与到本节课的英语学习中。
Teaching procedures: Step1: 导入Warming up

3. Review the words about weather-Sharp eyes. Step2:展示Presentation
1. Watch a micro-video and learn how to ask about weather.
2. Learn how to ask about and answer the weather in each season. Show them some pictures on PPT to practice the patterns.
3. Show them some pictures on PPT and ask them to talk about the weather in different cities.

I like summer. In summer, it’s hot and sunny, and I can swim in the sea.

It is snowy in winter in Canada. When it snows, I can make snowman.
I like all the seasons. They are beautiful and I can do many things in each season.
