教学设计说明

学生情况分析:

四(4)班的同学对于英语学习有浓厚的兴趣,在课堂上也乐于表达,思维十分活跃。另外,由于在英兴课上对Christmas的内容有所学习,在之前的教材中也学习过关于Mid-autumn Festival的相关语篇。因此,对于节日的话题有一定的学习经验和基础,也比较感兴趣,能简单描述一些关于本单元所涉及节日的天气、时间及相关活动。

模块教学任务分析:

4B M4的学习主题为More things to learn。本模块学习单元为Unit 1 A Music class;

Unit 2 Festivals in China;Unit 3 Story time。涉及到的词汇包括乐器类、中国传统节日的专有名词、自然界中的事物等;语法方面的内容包括can、to be

句型、现在进行时态和一般现在时态等。就一般现在时态,包括各类句式,有一般疑问句以及回答、有特殊疑问句以及回答(如What festivals do you like? 、What do you usually do...?等等)。

在本模块的教学时,可以从复习sports、谈论学生的业余生活入手,引导学生学习生活中接触过的乐器类词汇,在创设的情境中立足于句型What can you play? Whose ...is it?等展开学习,要求学生能比较熟练地加以使用;借助六一国际儿童节以及不同国家不同时间的儿童节的再现,来进行中国传统节日(四个主要专有名词)的学习,进一步运用一般现在时态,尤其是特殊疑问句What festivals do you like?、What do you usually do...?等,在问答中关注不同的节日行为,由此提高学生的读、写能力;通过相关的动物故事带出精典故事“The ugly duckling”,让学生在感受故事、演绎故事的同时,进一步巩固一般现在时态和现在进行时态。

单元教学任务分析:

通过本单元的学习,要求学生掌握四大中国传统节日的名称表达,掌握特殊疑问句What festival do you like? What do you usually do …? 的合理问答,能结合频度副词来表述这些传统节日的风俗习惯与民间活动,包括时间、天气、庆祝的方式以及人们的饮食等,初步形成对某一重要节日较为完整的认识。同时,能结合所学,对不同的节日进行问答训练和简单表述,加强学生对我国传统文化的感知和了解,进行适时的情感教育。

知识要点介绍:

1. 能够认读中国传统节日名称the Spring Festival, the Dragon Boat Festival, the Mid-autumn Festival, the Double Ninth Festival, 做到音、形、义的统一。

2. 能用动词短语visit my grandparents and relatives, eat dumplings等描述春节人们的活动;have dragon boat races, eat rice dumplings等描述端午节的活动;look at the beautiful moon, eat mooncakes等描述中秋节的活动;visit old people, eat Double Ninth cakes等描述重阳节的活动。

3. 能学习和掌握一般现在时的特殊疑问句及其问答,如:What festivals do you like? I like ... What special food do you eat at ... Festival? 询问对传统节日的了解情况。

4. 能运用所学的词汇与句型(一般现在时),通过对学习文本中提供的信息month,weather,activity,special food等来合理描述一个中国的传统节日。

My favourite festival is the Dragon Boat Festival. It’s in May or June.

It’s on the fifth of the fifth lunar(农历的) month. It’s hot, sunny or rainy.

On this day, we usually make and eat rice dumplings. We also watch dragon boat races. It’s interesting.
