学生情况分析：

二年级的学生对于学习有一定的求知欲，尤其是英语学习方面有着一定的兴趣。通过一年多的英语学习，学生们已经积累了不少的词汇量，初步具备了一定的英语技能，愿意与同学交流与分享英语学习成果，也养成了较好的英语学习习惯，比如大胆开口的习惯、善于倾听的习惯、用英语来表达自己切身感受的习惯等。

单元教材内容：

模块教学任务分析：

2B M4的模块主题是More things to learn.围绕Activities, Mother’s Day, Story time三个话题展开。要求学生通过学习，能用英语描述他人会的活动，自己能为母亲做的事情，自己喜欢吃的东西等；能在常见的生活情境中用英语进行合理交流，学会对家人做的事，学会自理等。本模块涉及到一些动词短语，一些常见的食物和物品名称；句型包括Can he/she…?及其肯定和否定回答，祈使句Have…句型，to be句型等。

单元教学任务分析：

本单元主要是围绕西方母亲节为主题，让学生了解有关母亲节的相关信息，学习有关母亲节的简单词汇：（carnation，letter，balloon等）和主要句型（Here’s a ...for... Happy Mother’s Day! )，通过制作礼物并送给母亲,表达对母亲的祝福和爱。在整册教材中，这一单元比较独立，相关内容也比较少，有一定难度，特别是制作礼物步骤比较难表达。因此在单元的整体设计上，我们考虑对教材比较分散的语言文本进行重新编排和整合，使二课时的教学内容更流畅，对原本比较简化的教学内容进行再构，通过拓展一定的句型来丰富本单元的内容，使学生能够用更丰富的句式来描述母亲节的文化特点。

单元课时教学构思：

母亲节是一个非常有意义的节日。

第一课时的课时话题为Gifts for Mum,通过Mary在母亲节来临之际，为母亲准备节日礼物，从中母亲节的具体日期，了解母亲节合适的节日礼物，激发孩子们表达对母亲的爱，思考为母亲准备什么合适的礼物。

第二课时在第一课时的基础上，设计了三个小朋友Mary, Cindy, Jack 讨论母亲节各自想要为母亲做的事。了解更多的能送给母亲的礼物如hug, kiss, a cup of tea等。了解如何用I can give Mum___.表达自己能为妈妈做的事，激发学生的感恩之情。
