The Double Ninth Festival The Double Ninth Festival is a Chinese Festival. It's the festival for old people like your grandpa and grandma. It's on the ninth day of the ninth lunar month. The festival is usually in October. At the Double Ninth Festival, old people usually climb mountains, eat the Double Ninth cakes and enjoy chrysanthemum shows. They are happy. Many old people live in the old people's home. At the Double Ninth Festival, children visit them. They bring gifts and chat with the old people. They are all happy on that day!
