一．教材分析

本单元以“Bicycle Exploring”为话题，以骑自行车旅行为核心内容，引出骑车的好处，比步行快，比其他交通方式省钱，环保，并能锻炼身体。进一步讲述了交通安全及交通规则、骑自行车应注意的事项，从而又引出了重点教学内容if引导的条件状语从句，在一年级已见过，但这儿重点归纳及运用，句式有三种情况。这一课内容在初中占有重要地位。

二、教学目标

知识目标1.学习下列生词和短语: helmet, motorcycle, fine, trouble, get a fine, light-colored

2.学习一些有用的表达法：

If we ride at night, we should use bike lights or wear light-colored clothes. If we break the traffic rules, we will get a fine and even be in danger. 能力目标1.能听懂有关交通规则和交通安全的材料从中获取信息.

2.能简单地用英语表达交通规则和骑自行车的安全规则

情感目标

学会遵守交通规则，树立安全意识

文化意识目标

让学生了解中国、美国、英国、澳大利亚等国的交通法规，找出中西方文化的差异。

三、教学重难点: 初步学习由if

四．教学方法

采用五步教学法、任务型教学途径，让学生编对话、表演、等形式来培养学生自主、探究、合作等学习能力。

五、教学过程

Step 1 warm-up 1.Greetings and revision 交通工具：自行车\摩托\公交车\出租车\火车\飞机

交通标识：红灯\绿灯\黄灯\十字路口

2.Lead-in Q1:Do you know anything about bicycle safety? 出示图片引入课题生词

Step 2 Presentation show them pictures of traffic signs and traffic accidents. Help them learn the signs and the harm of accidents. Step 3 Discussion Discuss the traffic rules in groups. And talk about what will happen if an accident happens or if you break the traffic rules according to the pictures in PPT.引入If条件句“if”表示“如果，假如”；引导条件状语从句。如果主句是一般将来时，从句常常用一般现在时(主将从现）。
