一.

教材分析

本节所教授的是外研社小学新标准英语(一起)四年级上Module 2 Unit2 Amy painted a picture.一课,在第一单元中学生对一般过去时已经有了一个基本的认识和了解,本节课中通过游戏和韵律等活动来进一步呈现一般过去时所表达的意义,让学生准确掌握动词过去式的使用方法和基本的变化规则,同时也为学生学习第三模块一般过去式的否定形式做铺垫,起到了承上启下的作用。

二.教学目标

1.语言知识目标:

(1)、要学会的单词有:paint, Mr, phone (2)、要学会的句子有:Mr Smart cooked noodles.Tom helped him. Ms Smart phoned Grandma.Sam watched TV. Amy painted a picture. 2.语言技能目标:(1)了解、掌握动词过去式的构成。

(2)学会谈论自己及他人昨天做过的事。

3. 情感态度目标:帮助学生体会父母一天的忙碌,教育学生要关爱父母,做力所能及的家务劳动,养成良好的生活习惯。

4.学习策略目标:

(1)通过活动,培养学生积极与他人合作,共同完成学习任务的能力。

(2)在语言学习过程中,引导学生采用观察、归纳等方法学习语言。

三、学情分析:

四年级学生已经对一般过去时态有了一定程度的了解,并且已经具有了一定的自学能力和语言组织能力,但不是特别完善得当,需要教师及时正确的纠正引导,他们仍然需要教师采用各种方式吸引其注意力,不断强化好的学习习惯,为好习惯的养成打下基础。学生在前两个模块已经学过了过去时态的陈述句,也有了一定量的动词过去式的掌握基础,学习本模块的内容应该不难,熟练后就融入到完整的对话中,既练习了以前的知识,又强化了新知识,两者结合起来是对语言应用能力最好的练习。

四、教学的重点及难点

重点:能对自己及他人过去发生的一系列动作进行描述。

难点:掌握规则动词过去式的变法以及-ed的不同发音, 进一步理解和掌握一般过去时所表示的意义。

五、课程资源的利用

CD-ROM, 多媒体课件,卡片,头饰等。

六、教学流程

Step One: Warming up and revision 1. Greet the students and free talk. 2. Listen and sing a song: Children from China are Chinese. 3. Go over the story learned in Unit 1. Elicit and help the students retell the story by using ‘Yesterday, Daming…’ Pay attention to past simple tense forms. 4. Free talk “What did you do yesterday?”

“What did he/she do yesterday?”

Then showing a picture to learn “cook—cooked

5. Showing ‘Smart Family’, teach ‘Mr’. Then say: Today let’s see ‘What did they do yesterday?’

Step Two: New Concept Show ‘Learning aims’, then read it by themselves. 任务一、组内交流,汇报预习情况:

1、Talk about new words and phrases in groups. 2、Students display, then copy the main phrases on the board. Then read them. 任务二、读出书中出现的动词过去式单词:

1、Students say out the verbs and their past simple tense forms, teacher add ‘-ed’ on the verbs.

2、Help students be aware of the pronunciation of ‘ed’.

Explain new words ‘phone-phoned’, ‘paint-painted’. Then read the words. 任务三、听音跟读,找到含有动词过去式单词的句子:

1、Get students listen to the CD-ROM and follow to read twice. Try to know the text meanings. 2、Read the text by themselves, find and read some sentences with verbs of past simple tense forms.

3、Show students the pictures one by one with the sentences in which the verbs are deleted. Ask them to fill in the blanks. Then listen and repeat. 4、Check it one by one by asking “Who cooked noodles?...” Stick the cards on the board. According to the blackboard to answer the question: What did they do yesterday? 任务四、组内组织熟读课文,完成习题:

1、Read the text in groups. (形式:领读、齐读、自读等。) Then display. 2、According to the text finish True(√) and False(×), then check the answer. 任务五、

根据例句,同座讨论活动3图上内容:

First give students an example, then point and say in pairs. And then display, give them ‘points’. Step Three: Practice and Consolidation 1. Play a guessing game. Use the pictures from Activity chant. Cover a certain part of a picture; ask them to guess what did the boy/ girl do? 2. Show the verbs of past simple tense forms; help students be aware of the pronunciation of ‘ed’. Then clap and say the chant. 3. Learn the chant. Play the CD-ROM, Ss say along the music.

4. Watch some pictures and remember what he did yesterday. Feedback and check the answers. Look and say what the child did yesterday.
