一、教材分析

本课教材为外研社《英语》（新标准）（三年级起点）六年级下册Module6 Unit2

The name of the spaceship is Shenzhou V. 本单元的话题是描述太空旅行。本单元的课文情境是Daming和Simon制作了中国宇宙飞船模型。这个宇宙飞船的名字是“神州五号”。2003年，它成功将一名中国宇航员、一面中国国旗和一些种子送入太空。学生通过学习课文试着来描述太空旅行。本单元主要是以神州五号的故事为线索，继续学习一般过去时态。了解神州五号飞入太空的事情，学习讲述过去发生的事情。共1课时完成。

二、学情分析

本课的教学对象是六年级学生，他们的英语知识已经有了一定的积累，英语听说读写方面的能力有了一定的基础，具备了初步运用英语做事的能力。而且学生在合作学习以及在真实的任务中运用所学语言进行交际的能力等方面都较低年级时有了很大提升。在教授新语言点时，要尽可能多地联系实际生活，创造生活化的语言环境，让学生在语境中更好地理解课文，同时采取小组合作学习的方式加强生生合作与互动，通过任务驱动，鼓励学生在真实的情景中运用所学语言，让学生在大胆实践和积极参与的过程中，培养其积极的情感态度和自主学习能力。本模块的学习重点是介绍礼物和描述太空旅行。学生在第一单元已经学习了介绍礼物，并能够用自己的语言简单介绍自己的生日礼物，本节课教师可以组织学生制作宇宙飞船模型并介绍宇宙飞船模型。不仅可以提高学生的学习兴趣，还可以更有效地进行学习。

1. T: Boys and girls, yesterday Daming and Simon made a paper spaceship. And they gave it to Simon’s mum. It’s a model of a Chinese spaceship. Teach the word “model”. Pay attention to “a model of”. Do you want to see it ?

2. Watch the CD-ROM with a question：What’s the name of the spaceship? 引导学生回答The name of the spaceship is Shenzhou V. 并板书课题。Explain: the name of…的用法(ppt)：意思是……的名字of 在这里相当于名词所有格形式。如，the name of the spaceship= the spaceship’s name
