Ⅰ.Analysis of teaching materials

The Teaching content is to allow students to master some English expressions about professional discussion, and this can introduce professional characters, ask about other people's work and gives the corresponding answer.Let students understand the characteristics of the different professions, can according to own hobby for their future career and the effort.

Ⅱ.Analysis of the students

Our students are in Grade 6 They have learnt English for 3 years and gotten some simple English knowledge. At the same time, they are active, curious and interested in new things. So the teacher should attach the importance to communication with them and provide them the chances of using language.

Ⅲ.Teaching aims

(1)Knowledge aims:

①. let students master four words or phrases factory, worker, postman, businessman, police, officer.

②Let students use sentence patterns Is your father a postman? No, he isn’t. What does he do? He is a businessman.and other people to communicate with each other.

③The students are able to complete listen match and say to communicate with others.

(2)Ability aims

Let students use the knowledge to ask the companion family occupation, can flexibly use the sentence patterns to ask questions. (3)Emotional aims

Stimulate students' interest in learning English, so that students can set up the concept of cooperation and mutual help. By learning, students can learn to realize their dreams through their own efforts. Ⅳ.Teaching keys and difficulties

The important points:

The key point of this class is to be able to hear, read and write four words and phrases and use them flexibly in the situation.

The difficult points:

Four occupation of words and phrases can combine the sentence writing replace words, according to the various activities in class to freely use words, and clever brains to remember the words, to gradually achieve the words .

Ⅴ.Teaching methods

1.Situation communicating method: It can provide certain situations for students and develop their communication abilities.

2.Group working method: I’ll give the students some tasks and

arrange different kinds of activities in the groups.

3. The game teaching method: Review the words and sentence patterns in the form of the game, practicing the new language, so that students learn from happiness, in the lively light agitated pleasant atmosphere naturally obtain knowledge and skills in English.
