一、教材分析:
本课时教学内容为新标准英语一年级起点四年级上册Module 2 Unit1 I helped my mum.课文以学生熟悉的人物大明为主线,通过介绍大明昨天做的事情,来使学生初步体会英文时态中很重要的一个概念:一般过去时态。由于学生第一次接触,所以这个概念在他们脑中非常模糊。只有让他们在相应的情景中受到强化和刺激,才有可能将各个动词与过去式建立连接。
二、教学目标:
1、知识目标:
(1)学生能认读单词:wash, help, finish, clean,以及知道他们的过去式形式;
(2)学生能在“昨天”这个时间范围内正确理解并初步使用单词过去式。
2、能力目标:
通过学习和操练,使学生能掌握本课表达过去的相关法则,并能在相应的情景中正确使用。
3、情感目标:
通过游戏和活动,激发学生学习英语的兴趣;通过大明帮助妈妈做事情的描述,教育孩子们要爱自己的家人,做自己利所能及的事情。
三、教学重点:
1、初步感知过去式的正确用法;
2、学习单词wash, help, finish, clean,加ed后的读音及用法;
四、教学难点:
理解过去式的正确使用范围,能区别ed在不同动词后的发音。
五、教学准备:
多媒体PPT、点读笔、单词卡片
六、教学过程:
Step 1. Warm-up 1、Greetings. 2、Sing a song《Children from China are Chinese.》
3、Chant. Step 2. Lead-in. 1、Yesterday T: What day is today? What day was yesterday? 引导学生用Yesterday was ___.这个句型来回答。
2、初步感知动词过去式。
T:看课件,师描述自己忙碌的一天,最后引出本课所学内容。
Yesterday,I was tired. But I was happy. Do you know, why? Let me tell you . This is my son. Yesterday ,he helped me. He cleaned the room. He washed the dishes. Do you often help your mum? So the topic of our study is “ I helped my mum .”
Step 3. Presentation
1、Listen to the text. 课件出示:Show a picture and say:“Yesterday, Daming’s mum was very happy?
Why?”让学生带着问题听课文两遍后,找学生回答这个问题。
2、Learn the text. ①T: What did Daming do yesterday? Now, let’s learn the text. Listen to the text and repeat after the tape. ②Practice the text.(同桌练读,全班齐读,找个别学生读) 3、Teach the new words. ①clean

wash face
wash hands ③finish finish homework ④Practice the new words. (跟师读、分组轮流读、排火车个人读) ⑤Game. What’s missing? 4、New knowledge. ①T: Look at these words, what can you find?课件出示本课所学新单词让学生找出共同点,动词后面都加了ed. T: When we talk about the past, we should add the letters“ed”and pronounce/d/ /t/.
②Chant. Ed, ed 小尾巴,动词后面跟着它。
如果动作已发生,千万不要忘了它。
Step 4. Practice 1、Answer the questions.课件出示图片,让学生看图回答问题。
What did he do yesterday?
What did she do yesterday? What did he do last Saturday? 2、Fill in the blanks. ①I ____(finish/finished)my homework yesterday. ②I ____(clean/cleaned)my room last Sunday. ③I am ____(washing/washed)my trousers now. 3、Do a survey about “What did you do yesterday?”
Step 5. Summary ①Today we learned how to describe what we did in the past. ②What did you learn from Daming? Love our family. Do what we can. Step6. Homework 1、Listen to the tape and read the text . 2、Tell your parents what you did yesterday at school. 3、Help your parents do some housework.
