1. Master some new words and phrases: nothing, have lunch, ride a bike, do exercise, watch TV, walk in the park, read a book, have a picnic, play football. 2. master动词的现在分词形式(即ing形式),并正确运用现在进行时和but句型描述正在发生的事。
3. 在真实场景中运用所学语言进行交流,激发学生学习英语的兴趣。

step1 warming up (1)sing the song “Are you doing it too” together. (2)listen and chant.(教师播放课本29页Part 1 部分的歌谣的录音,学生跟着录音机有节奏地说唱)

Step2 Presentation (20mins)
Listen and read. 1.教师利用多媒体呈现第一幅图片,用having进行对话练习。
T: What is the girl doing? S: She's having lunch. T: What happens when she's having lunch? S: The phone rings. 然后教师让学生两人一组仿照例句练习对话。
教师把答句板书在黑板上:
She's having lunch, but the phone rings. He's riding his bike, but it starts to rain. She's doing exercise, but it gets too hot. She's watching TV, but the bell rings. He's walking in the park, but it starts to snow. He's reading a book, but his sister starts to sing. 2.播放录音,学生跟读;教师领读;学生齐读。
3.教师出示图片,让学生描述图片内容。
Listen, match and say. 让学生先观察图片,了解图片内容。播放录音,把相应的图片连接起来。再播放一遍,核对答案。
然后教师提问,让学生回答:
(1)What happens when they are having a picnic? (2)What are they doing when it starts to be cloudy? (3)What happens when he's swimming?

Step 3consolidation 1.播放Part 2录音,完成句子。
