一、整体设计思路、指导依据说明

《义务教育英语课程标准(2011年版)》明确指出,小学主要要培养学生学习英语的兴趣,学生将通过英语学习和英语实践活动逐步掌握英语知识和技能,提高英语实际运用能力。本课将通过各个教学环节帮助学生获得“提取、分析、整理和应用文本信息”的能力,培养英语思维的同时也发展他们的语言交际能力。同时,根据教材的特点和四年级学生的实际情况,本课教学设计采用读前、读中、读后的阅读教学模式,通过“读前探讨,激发学生学习兴趣;读中设疑、解疑,获取文本信息,渗透阅读策略;读后巩固拓展,体验运用”三个环节,对本课的内容进行了合理、有效的处理。整节课教学过程清晰,层次分明,梯度合理,循序渐进地培养学生的阅读能力和口语表达能力。

二、教学背景分析

1.教学内容分析

本课为福建教育出版社出版的《英语》(三年级起点)第三册第七单元的A 部分。本部分的主要话题是“圣诞节”,功能为谈论圣诞节的相关活动。本课是对话教学,主要围绕What presents do you want? I want ….展开话题。

2.学生情况分析

本课的教学对象为四年级的学生,他们已具备一定的英语学习基础,对英语学习都有很大的兴趣,也掌握了相当一部分单词,然而由于学生学习英语的语境有限,老师在授课的过程中,尽可能多地创设语境,加强对语言点的巩固和拓展,为学生提供更多的机会进行操练,让学生想开口说,有话说。

三、教学目标分析

1.知识与技能目标

⑴能听懂、会说、会读、会写单词:Christmas, robot, tree.

⑵能听懂、会读、会说短语:a Christmas tree, a Christmas card.

⑶能听懂、会读、会说句型:What presents/… do you want?I want … .并能在真实的语境中熟练运用What presents/… do you want?I want … . 等句型,能较准确地询问他人想要的物品,并对他人的询问做出相应的回答。

2. 学习策略目标

(1) 能在老师创设的语境和情境中结合单词的音、形、义来学习词汇。

(2) 能带着问题有目的地听对话,获取关键信息。

(3) 能借助图片和文字听懂、读懂和朗读课文。

(4) 能在各种活动中调动已知,并能进行合理拓展,自如表达自己的观点和看法。

(5) 通过pair work, group work等活动形式,培养学生自主学习、合作学习的能力。

3. 情感态度目标

培养学生感知外国文化的兴趣,以及教育学生不能接受别人过多的礼物。

4. 文化意识目标

了解圣诞节的相关知识,并感知中西方文化的差异。

四、教学重点、难点分析

1.教学重点

学习并正确应用本课新教授的单词、词组和句型。

2.教学难点

(1) 能借助图片和文字听懂、读懂和朗读课文。

⑵能在真实的语境中熟练运用所学的知识,能较准确地询问他人想要的物品,并对他人的询问做出相应的回答。

五、教学过程设计

Step 1 Warming up and lead-in

1. Greetings.

2. Enjoy a song: Jingle Bells.

3. Show the topic.

(2) Learn the new word:Christmas)

Step 2 Pre-reading.

1. Free talk about the origin of Christmas.

2. Talk about Christmas culture.
