四下Unit 5 My clothes （Part C) Ⅰ.Teaching aims Knowledge aims Ss should be able to retell the whole story. Ability aims Ss should be able to describe the process of making clothes by using old clothes in real life. Emotional aims Ss can notice the importance of making something out of nothing . Ss can recycle and reuse the old things.(Waste to wealth)

Ⅱ.Teaching procedures Step1:Warm-up 1.Greetings 2.Play a game:guessing game(What’s in the paper bag?)Have Ss touch and guess. Step2:Pre-reading T shows the first and last pictures of the story. T asks:Who are they ?Where are they ?What is the story about?(T asks more detail questions and have Ss predict the content of the story) Step3:While-reading 1.Skimming：Listen to the recording with two questions. Q1:Whose T-shirt is it? Q2:Is the T-shirt new or old . Ss watch the video carefully and answer T checks the answer with Ss and asks how do you know that. 2.Scanning ①T introduces:Zoom wants an old T-shirt ,why?(here explains the phrase what for) Circle the key words or underline the sentences on the book. ②T asks: How does Zoom make clothes?Please circle the key words or underline the sentences on the book. first→then→and→now
