Teaching aims and learning objectives: By the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:

1. understand the story and find out what’s on grandpa’s farm;

2. get to know the meaning of “these, those ,apples, pears ,pigs , cows,oranges,ducks,chickens”both in spoken and written forms, and pronounce them clearly;

3. review the words about animals,fruits and vegetables in 1B and 2A. 4. get to know the differences between “these” and “those” ,and use them correctly;

5. use structures like “What are these / those ? They’re ...s . Are these / those …s ?” etc.to talk about things on the farm

6. get interested in the nice things in our life.

Teching points: 1.Ss konws the meaning of “these, those ,apples, pears ,pigs , cows,oranges,ducks,chickens” both in spoken and written forms, and pronounce them clearly;

2. Students uses the sentence structure and words in proper and real situations. Teaching difficulties:

1. Ss understand the differences between “these” and “those”;

2. Ss pronounce the word “welcome”correctly.

3. Ss master and speak the plural form of nouns correctly. Teaching aids: PPT, pictures, vidios
