(一)重点:能听懂，会说、认读.部分词汇read, find, collect, study and think, write;能懂英语表达谈论意愿和打算的句型:What are you going to do? We' re going to", (二)难点:运用be going to结构来谈论白己准备开展研究性学习的步骤与打算. 三、教学准备

Period 1 Ⅰ. Teaching aims: 1. Aims on the knowledge:

(1)Ss are able to read and remember the new words: read, find, collect, study , think, write. (2)Ss can understand and talk about plans by asking and answering:“What are you going to do? We' re going to…”make sure that they can use these sentences in real situation. 2. Aims on the abilities: (1) To develop Ss’ abilities of listening and speaking. (2) Ss can read and retell the dialog in part A. 3.Aims on the emotions: To foster Ss’ consciousness of finding things by themselves. Ⅱ.Teaching key points: Be able to read and say the phrases (also steps) of doing research: do some research, read and find, collect information, study and think, write a report Ⅲ. With the help of CAI to set a situation to present the dialog of part A. Q: What are they going to do? (2)

Read the text and find the 4 steps of doing research. (read and find information, collect pictures , study and think, write a report) (3)Read after the tape and form a sense of doing research. (4)Role play Ss work in groups and act out the dialog. (目的;计算机辅助教学（CAI）能让学生快速理解课文，多次读A对话能训练语感) Step 3 practice 1, Magic eyes T show some pictures by PPT, Ss say out the words or phrases they are about. Then practice with the sentence structure: be going to. eg: research → do some research → We’re going to do some research (目的：火眼金睛游戏的趣味操练能提高学生注意力和英语学习兴趣，巩固新知。) Step 4 Consolidation 1, Divide Ss into groups of 6 children.
