一．Teaching Analysis

本节课教学内容为PEP小学英语四年级下册

Unit 3 Weather part A Let’s learn and Let’s chant. 这一单元的主要教学内容是学习形容天气的英语表达, 本课时通过天气预报员预报中国几大城市的气温和天气状况，学习运用warm\ cold\cool\hot这些形容词来表达天气情况。本课时的单词对多数学生来说并不难，个别同学通过自学就已经掌握了一些重点单词，就是weather report对他们来说有些难度，而且运用方面还不够熟练。

前置性小研究：让孩子们提前画个小地图，写出四个城市。（可以写课本上的四个城市）预习听读第三单元第一课时（Let’s learn A）

二．Teaching Aims

a. 能够听、说、认读单词hot, cold, warm, cool, weather。

b. 能够熟练运用句型It’s warm/cool/hot/cold in Beijing/…来介绍不同地方的天气特征。

c. 培养学生自主学习的能力和合作精神。

三．Teaching Key Points and Difficulties

1. 重点：能听、说、认读单词weather , warm , cold , hot , cool。

2. 难点：运用新学的单词和句型模拟天气预报。

Step1. Warm-up

1. Greeting.

2. Let’s chant ( 提前感知新课单词) Step2. Presentation

1. Lead-in What’s the weather like today?

It’s sunny. raniy .windy..cool.. 2.

Learn the new word—weather. （Write in paper）

a. 利用学过的单词father, mother, brother来学习单词weather的发音。

b. 注意“ea”和“th”的发音。

Teach: weather report( Use my picture) 3. Learn the English names of the four cities: Harbin, Beijing, Lhasa, Hong Kong

4. Learn the new word---cold. (Write in paper) a．

利用拼读法来学习单词cold。

It’s cold outside. b. 利用chant里面的句型进行单词操练。

c．呈现句子

It’s cold in Harbin today.

5. Learn the new word---warm

a．利用拼读法来学习单词warm。

b. 利用chant里面的句型进行单词操练。

It’s warm inside. d．呈现句子

It’s warm in Beijing today. (Write in paper)

6. Learn the new word---cool.

a. 利用拼读法来学习单词cool。

b. Cool 我们接触过，所以学生会读。

c．呈现句子

It’s cool in Lhasa today. (Write in paper) 7. Learn the new word---hot . (Write in paper) a. 利用拼读法来学习单词

hot。

b. 呈现

hot\ dog 来帮助学生记忆单词，以及巩固hot的发音。

c．呈现句子

It’s hot in Hong Kong today. 8.Listen to the tape and read after it. 8.Practice new words and sentences. Games , Practice in a group.（每组学生上来每人说一句句型，全体人员参加）
