Unit 1 My School Part C Story time 一、教学目标：

1.知识目标：

通过阅读趣味故事复习巩固本单元所学语言Is this/that the…? Yes, it is. /No, it’s not. This is.... 2.能力目标：

（1）学生能够在语言、图片的帮助下理解故事内容，并能朗读故事。

（2）学生能够在教师的帮助下表演故事，并能恰当运用故事中的语言。

3.情感目标：

感受学校的漂亮与温馨，培养学生对热爱学校的情感。

二、教学重难点：

1.重点：学生能够在语言、图片的帮助下读懂故事，并运用正确的语音语调朗读故事。

2.难点：学生能够表演故事并在实际情景中运用所学语言。

三、教学准备：

相关音视频、图片、词卡、Monkey、Hippo、Rabbit、Zip，Zoom的头饰。

四、教学过程：

Step 1 Warming up 1.Greetings T: Good morning，boys and girls！

Ss: Good morning, Miss Xiao! T: Welcome to our English class! Today we’ll learn a story. Do you like stories? Ss: Yes. 2．Review （1）Sharp eyes T: Here I have some words. First let me check your eyes! Are you ready? Ss: Yes. T: Let’s go! （设计意图：用头脑风暴复习学过的学校课室,为学习新知做好铺垫。）

（2）Ask and answer. 1

Is that/this the…? Yes, it is. /No，it isn’t. （设计意图：通过让学生谈论主情境图中的学校课室复习旧知并为学习新知做好铺垫。) Step 2 Presentation T：I hear some animals are coming to visit a school. Now let’s have a look! 1、课件出示第一幅图片

教师提问：Who are they? 引导学生回答： Zip, Zoom, Monkey and Rabbit, Mr Hippo. 教师继续提问：Where are they？Read Picture 1 and find ，please. They are in Mr Hippo’s . 学生回答：school T：How do you know? Ss: Mr Hippo says,“Welcome to our school. This way , please.”

T：What does Zip say? Ss: How beautiful! 找个别学生有感情地试读句子

（设计意图：通过看听问答，让学生从整体上感知文本,回答问题Where are they? 对文本内容有整体印象。）

2、Read Picture 2,3,4,5. （1）Read picture 2,3,4,5 and circle：

Where do they visit in Hippo’s school? A. Library, gym, music room, lunch room, computer room, B. Library, gym, music room, lunch room, teacher’s office （设计意图：让学生读图2-5的内容圈出所参观的课室,培养学生读故事抓要素的能力。）

(2) Listen to the tape. （设计意图：教师引导学生听故事录音,看故事图片,抓住故事的主线索—动物们共同参观的五个课室。）

（3）教师引导学生理解图2内容。

（4）教师引导学生理解图3内容。

（5）教师引导学生理解图4内容。

T：Now they’re visiting the gym. What does Zoom say? Ss: Is that the lunch room? T：Why? 2

Ss: Zoom is hungry. 教师运用图片帮助学生理解“lunch room”意思。

由一名学生当小老师教读句型Is that the lunch room? （6）学生读第5幅图内容并回答：Is this the computer room? 学生读第5幅图内容回答No. 教师问：How does the Hippo answer? 河马是怎样回答的？

No, it’s not. 教师引导: It means： No，it is n’t. 学生开火车读。

（设计意图：使学生根据读图，猜测No ,it’s not.=No, it isn’t.）

（7）Review the five rooms they visit. 3、Read Picture 6 （1）PPT出示钟表上12点的时刻，引导学生思考句型It’s time for lunch!的意思。

（2）Let’s chant! Time for lunch, Time for lunch! It’s time for lunch. It’s time for lunch. （设计意图：）通过Chant突破难点It’s time for lunch. （3）Watch and find PPT: Where is Zoom? Zoom is in the_______. A lunch room B art room How do you know?（ Zoom says:“ I am full!”）

Zoom is funny. What do you want to tell Zoom? （Eat enough food in the morning, or you’ll be hungry before lunch time! That’s what I want to tell you!）

（设计意图:通过你想对Zoom说什么？发散学生思维自然渗透不要像Zoom一样。要注意早餐，防止午饭前就挨饿。）

Step 4 Production Emotion education:师生一起看PPT进行情感教育Hippo’s school is beautiful！And our school is beautiful，too！

School is beautiful, school is where we learn all day! love school! Love life! （设计意图：通过诗歌形式，使学生进一步感受学校的漂亮与温馨，从而激发学生对学校的热爱。）
