一年级学生年龄小,几乎不具备英语基础,因此,在课堂上不宜讲授过深、过难的内容。但是,低龄儿童具有强烈的好奇心,求知欲和爱玩的心理并存,所以,在教学中应充分考虑到这一点,寓学习于游戏之中,在快乐中获得知识。
本课为人教版一年级起点第一册,适用于一年级学生。本课是该单元第一课时,涉及的教学内容不宜太多、太深。要求学生能听懂、会说并熟练掌握cat, dog, bird, monkey, tiger五种动物的英文说法;教材中出现的chant 作为教学内容的一部分,可以增添课堂的趣味性,使教学达到更好的效果。授课时间为40分钟。
To enable the students to master the five words: cat, bird, dog, monkey and tiger. To make the students cultivate listening and speaking skills.
To help the students to develop the consciousness of protecting animals. To know different living habits of different animals.

Teacher imitates one animal of the five, let students guess. 2.
Look at the pictures and learn the new words with different ways. 3.
Teach the words: students read together following teacher according to slides and words on blackboard. 4.Let’s chant: eg:
Bird, bird, 天上飞,
Dog, dog, 地上追。
Tiger ,tiger ,是大王,
Monkey, monkey,
尾巴长。
