Ⅰ. 教学内容:

Ⅱ. 教材分析: 本课围绕animals来展开话题,让学生谈谈自己最喜欢的动物,学习新单词whale , panda , lion , tiger , polar bear , rabbit. Ⅲ. 学生分析: 学生的年龄在八、九岁左右，生性活泼好动，喜欢直观形象思维,对“游戏、竞赛、

猜一猜”非常感兴趣，课堂上老师应“以表扬为主”，注重培养学生“大胆说、积极做、努力唱”的英语学习习惯。

Ⅳ. 教学目标: 1. 知识目标：

学习怎样用英语表达相关的动物, 掌握whale , panda , lion , tiger , polar bear , rabbit和句型: Is this a panda ? Yes, it is / No, it isn’t. 并能综合运用新、旧知识对话,让英语口语交际在游戏中得到进一步提升。

2. 情感目标: 激发学生学习英语的兴趣，调动学生学习积极性, 培养学生爱护动物的意识。让学生明白：动物是我们人类的朋友，应该与它们和谐相处。

3. 能力目标:

培养学生的观察力、想象力，提高学生欣赏、感受的能力。

4. 德育目标: 培养学生热爱身边的动物，热爱大自然，保护动物的良好品德。

Ⅷ. 教学过程: Step 1 Warming up 1. Greetings. 2. Sing a song “Old McDonald Had a Farm”.

Step 2 Presentation 1.

Visit Old McDonald’s farm. 2.

Review. T: What’s this? Ss: It’s a bird. 3.

Leading in. T: Is this a bird?

Ss: No, it isn’t. It’s a goat.

Step 3 Practice 1. Have an Animal Sports Meeting. 2. Teach the new words and sentence patterns by guessing games, pictures and paper-cut. 3. Chant. 4. Play a guessing game.

Step 4 Extension 1.

What can the animals do? They can play soccer/skate/do boxing/run/jump.

2. Which sport will the animals choose? Write the words and match. 3. Six animals show their ability and the students vote.

Step 5 Summary Sing a song “Is this a dog?”

Step 6 Homework 1. Say some words to your favorite animals.（运用以前所学过的知识，对动物说一句话）For ______________________________ example, I like pandas.
