1、教学内容分析：

本节课的教学内容选自闽教版《英语》五年级下册第一单元Winter Vacation Part B。通过Miss Gao和她的学生的交谈，引出本课的重点词汇及句型How was your winter vacation?及其应答，本节课的功能话题为用英语介绍自己与家人或朋友的寒假生活。教学重点涉及准确使用动词的过去式描述过去发生的事情，这在A部分已经学习，本课时拓展了一般过去时的运用。课文内容真实，自然，贴近实际生活，教材内容更易于学生理解。

2、学生情况分析：

五年级的学生处于小学高年级阶段，他们对与自己生活相关的话题比较感兴趣，喜欢通过交流获取信息，愿意用所学语言完成任务。大部分学生对英语学习仍然保持着浓厚的兴趣，也有部分学生基础较薄弱，学习的兴趣和热情逐渐减淡，对英语产生了畏惧心理。因此，在教学活动设计中，不仅要关注梯度性，还要注重创造同伴间互相交流和合作的机会，形成互帮互助的学习风气。

1、单词卡片。

2、多媒体课件。

3、单词和台湾岛图片磁贴。

教学过程

Step 1 Warming up 1. Sing a song: The Taiwan Island 引出教学hometown，告诉学生hometown是合成词，由home（家）与town（城镇）组成。

2. T: Taiwan is a wonderful island. It’s the part of China. It’s very close to Fujian. 呈现台湾风光图片，欣赏台湾美景。

3. T: I went to Taiwan with my parents in last winter vacation. How was your winter vacation? 呈现教师去台湾旅游的图片，引出课题。

4.介绍评价：Here’s a competition between boys and girls. Let’s start from Alishan and travel around the Taiwan Island! If you get back to Alishan first, you’re the winner!

Step 2 Presentation 1. T: Miss Gao and her students are talking about their winter vacation. Watch the video and answer the question: How was Wang Tao’s winter vacation? 2. 教学I went to Taiwan with my parents. 教学parents 3. T: Where did you go with your parents? 引导学生回答：I went to ... with my parents. 4. 教学I took a boat tour of Sun Moon Lake. 教学Sun Moon Lake，告诉学生每个单词的第一个字母要大写。

5. 教学took，比较原形和过去式。

教学tour，补充词组a car/bus/bike/train tour，让学生看图造句。

6. Watch the video again and answer the question: How was Yang Ming’s winter vacation? 7. 教学I played chess with my father.

Step 3 Practice and extension 1. Watch, listen and follow. 2. Wang Tao’s and Yang Ming’s winter vacation 说说课文人物的寒假生活，让学生动笔补全短文，并读一读。

3. 教师介绍去年寒假在台湾的经历，同桌间交流自己的寒假生活，再向全班展示。
