教学目标:本课要求学生能够理解掌握并运用新单词,clean the house, buy flowers, have dinner together, get red packets 等词组,并围绕What are you going to do in Spring Festival? We are going to …来讨论春节,并学习相关拓展词汇和词组make dumplings, make a big dinner, put up the couplets, wear new clothes, visit relatives and friends等。学生能够了解春节的相关习俗,并能介绍节前准备活动,节日食物,节日活动等
教学重点:介绍春节节前准备,节日食物,节日活动等。
教学难点:
1). Red packets, put up the couplets, visit relatives 等的发音。
2).熟练运用本课新单词和句型。
教学过程:
Step 1: warm up and review. 快闪方式呈现节日词组抢答。
T:Good morning, boys and girls. Let’s play a guessing game. Let’s guess the festivals we know.(Show pictures of some festivals, let the students guess.)
S1: It’s Children’s Day.
T: When’s Children’s Day? S2: It’s on June 1st. T: What about this? S3: It’s Mother’s Day……
(设计意图:复习节日词与时间,为导入春节做铺垫。)
Step 2: Presentation. 1.
Show picture of Spring Festival T:(Listen to the sound of the firecrackers)Guess what festival is it? S3: Spring Festival T: Yes, it’s Spring Festival. Spring Festival is the Chinese New Year? When is Spring Festival? Listen to a short passage and then answer. (录音材料: The Spring Festival is the Chinese New Year. It’s not always on January 1st. The date of the Chinese New Year changes every year, but it’s always in January or February. ) T: When is Spring Festival? S: It’s in January or February. T: (Show a calendar), Exactly, The Spring Festival is on the 1st
day of the lunar calendar. When is the Spring Festival in 2016? S: It’s on February 8th.
(设计意图:通过声音图片实物等渲染春节氛围,激发学生了解春节的学习热情,激发学生思维的积极参与。)

讨论节日活动
T: What are you going to do in the coming Spring Festival?
(Show pictures of clean house, have dinner, buy flowers, get red packets)
Are you going to go shopping and buy something? What are you going to buy?(packets, couplets, flowers, candies, chicken, oranges, and so on.) 提供更多的词和图片给学生讨论节日活动:make dumplings, wear new clothes, put up the couplets , visit relatives and friends (设计意图:通过与学生互动讨论节前准备和节日活动,了解人们春节的习俗,给予适当的词汇协助学生架起学习的支架。)
Step 3: Practice 1.
Let’s chant together. The Chinese New Year Clean, clean, clean our house We are going to clean our house Buy, buy, buy some flowers Father is going to buy some flowers
Make, make, make a big dinner
Mother is going to make a big dinner Get, get ,get red packets I am going to get red packets

Change the words and chant again. The Chinese New Year Put, put, put up
the couplets Father is going to put up the couplets Make, make, make dumplings Mother is going to make dumplings Wear, wear,wear new clothes I am going to wear new clothes. Visit, visit, visit relatives We are going to visit relatives. Step 4: Reading 阅读书本第二部分篇章,对春节形成初步认识。
T:Please open your book and turn to page 83. Lets read the passage and discuss the words we will fill in the blanks, and then fill in by yourselves. Step 5: Extension Listen to another passage and answer 3 questions. (录音材料:The Spring Festival is the Chinese New Year. It is
on the 1st day of the lunar calendar. When it comes, people are going to clean their houses. They are going to put up the couplets. They are going to eat dinner together. Children are going to get lucky money. They are going to visit relatives and friends.)

Show the 3 questions and listen for the 1st time.
Q1: When is Spring Festival?
Q2: What are people going to do? Q3: What are children going to do? 2.
Show some pictures to help students to listen for the 2nd
time. 3.
Read the passage together, Students try to answer. Give some answers to choose. 4.
Students answer together.

Give some sentences about Spring Festival for the students to say T or F
Step 5: Writing 1.Give all the words for tips(clean the house, buy flowers, have dinner together, get red packets, make dumplings, make a big dinner, put up the couplets, wear new clothes, visit relatives and friends )and let the students to discuss in groups
