Step 1. Greetings 1.

T:Class begins .Good morning class . 2.

Ss:Good morning ,Miss Xi . Step 2. Free talk 1.T:Hello,boys and girls ,today I’m your new English teacher .Look at me ,I’m thin ,I like new clothes ,look at my T-shirt and skirt .Now I want to know sth about . 2.Play a game .

T:Let’s play a game ,you’ll see some pictures ,if it’s you , please stand up and say “Look at me .I’m ... (电脑出现某位同学的照片，请出现照片的同学迅速起立说) T: What’s your name? /May I know your name? S1: look at me! I’m... I’m a student. I’m tall.

I’m fat.I can sing... S2:.... S3:.... 3.T:Today we’ll learn Unit 5 Look at me .(出示板书：Unit 5 Look at me !) 4.T:Look at him .Who’s he?

S:He’s Mike .

T:Great .(teach great )

T:Look at her .Who’s she ?

S:She’s Yang Ling .

T:Let’s praise her .

Ss:Great . Step 2. Presention . 1.T:Today Yang Ling wants to go to a fashion show . But mum asks her to complete three tasks . 2.Task 1 :火眼金睛

T: Look ,what’s this ? S:It’s a shirt . T:Look ,can you read this word ?(加上t-）

S:It’s a T-shirt . T:Can you read this word ?(去掉sh变成sk) S:It’s a skirt . 【设计意图】：通过已学过的单词引出新的单词，让学生易于接受，而且可以帮助学生记住单词。

T：Look at my skirt .

S：It’s nice .(引导学生说）

T:Who can say the sentence “Look at my _____”(出示体恤衫）

S: Look at my T-shirt .

T:It’s nice .We also can say “How nice !”

【设计意图】：在情境中引出课文中出现的赞美句型，让学生感知意思。

T: Look ,the cat is nice 。Can you spell‘

cat’

? S:c-a-t. T:Can you read this word ?(去掉t改成p) S:Cap . T:Look at my cap . S:It’s great .(引导学生说）

T:Is it a cap ? S:No .It’s a hat .(出示hat ) 【设计意图】：让学生对比cap和hat ,发现不同之处。

Chant :Cat cap hat .

I’m a cat, cat, cat in a cap, cap, cap. I’m a cat, cat, cat, in a hat, hat, hat. 【设计意图】：通过朗朗上口的chant，让学生加深印象。

Task 2 :耳聪目明

Listen and choose (播放录音jacket .）

T:Look at my jachet .(实物出现夹克衫）

Task 3 :听录音并打勾。

（录音播放T-shirt ,cap,skirt ,jacket .）

T:Great ,now Yang Ling can go to the fashion show . Step 3.Learn the story . 1.watch and tick . T:What is Yang Ling trying on ?Let’s watch and tick . 2.

Let’s read . 【设计意图】：让学生带着问题，有目的的去看课文动画。

T:What does she say ?Let’s read after the tape ,don’t forget to do the action .(边读边配上动作。）

Read and underline . T:Does Mum like her clothes ?How does mum praise her clothes ?Please read the story and underline the sentences . 【设计意图】：自读课文，培养学生的自主学习能力。

Read the story. T:It’s your turn to read the story .Pay attention to your pronunciation 、intonation and action . 5.

T:Here’s a sentence for you .Don’t forget to praise others and say ‘thank you’

in your daily life.

Let’s act .

T:Two students make one group ,try to act the story . S:表演对话，及时表演、鼓励。

T:Children’s Day is coming .Our class will have a fashion show .Let’s welcome our models . (几名学生上台走秀，展示衣服，教师引导学生适时进行评价）

【设计意图】：主要涉及到谈论衣服并互相作出适当的评价这一主要话题，在表演中学生要表现出穿上漂亮衣服时的愉悦心情。

8.Summary . 1) T:Today we learned four new words :T-shirt、skirt、cap、jacket。

Can you say any different clothes ? S: dress 、coat 、shoes.... 2)

T:Let’s enjoy a song ,and try to find the clothes in the song . (欣赏歌曲：My clothes ,学生边欣赏边说出里面出现的衣物类单词。）

【设计意图】：通过歌曲欣赏，让学生在音乐中找出其他衣物类的单词，拓展课外知识。

3）When you give the praise, you also can say：

pretty漂亮,

smart时尚,

beautiful美丽,

well done做得好.

good job做得好. 【设计意图】：发散学生的思维，不局限于书本，让学生活学活用。

Step 4 Emotional education T:You have nice clothes .Are you happy ?How about these children ?Look at her coat .Is it nice ?They are not nice .They are sad .After ,Yang Ling and her friends will give their new chothes to them .We can help them too .Try your best to help the people in need ,our life will become better. （PPT 播放贫困山区孩子的照片）

【设计意图】：通过观看贫困山区的图片，引发学生的同情心，引导学生帮助有困难的人。
