一、教学内容：Unit 5

Saving the Broken Tree

二、教学目标：

1.能“四会”掌握下列内容：by、sad、down、try、save。 2.能熟练地运用一般过去时，并能运用于日常生活交际之中。

3、从小要养成爱护树木、保护环境的意识。

4、能听懂并能读熟课文，并能回答课文的问题。

三、教学对象分析：

1、

小学生好奇，对身边的事情特别敏感，对以身边事物组成的真实情景特别感兴趣，学习的积极性也会特别高。

2、小学生学英语最容易忘记的就是单词，所以只有对单词反复归纳、总结、反复出现，才能达到反复记忆的效果。

3、本课的内容有unit4的单词，所以除了几个生词以外，学生在理解上应该不成问题。但因本课的句子均比较长，学生在朗读上可能会遇到一些困难，尤其是学习困难生，适当在读、练方面给学生较多的时间，应该会取得更好的效果。

四、教学重点：１、进一步学习一般过去时和本课出现的动词过去式及其原形。

五、教学难点：进一步运用一般过去时进行写作练习。

六、教具、学具：多媒体课件PPT、单词卡、小黑板

七、教学过程：

一、Revision 1、Sing a song 《The Tree in the Park》，利用多媒体播放，学生伴唱。

2、Free talk （1）How do you plant trees？

（2）How do trees grow up？

（3）Do you plant a tree with your friends？

二、呈现与操练

1、创设情景，导入新课。

T：Today we will learn Unit 5

Saving the Broken Tree．Janet and her friends planted a tree last year.Tree grows well and it is taller and taller this year. Janet and friends are very happy. But Janet was sad on February 11th(出示一张忧伤的脸.)Do you know why? 2、创设小车碰撞到一棵小树的情景并回答问题：

What happened last night？（通过学生回答学习新单

by、crash、sad.）

3、播放PPT课件，整体呈现课文。

４、带着下列问题，听课文录音，并回答问题。

(1)Was the tree broken？（学习broken）

(2)Did they cut down the broken tree？

(3)Did they save the tree at last？（学习save）

(4)How did they save the broken tree？

4、学生带着问题读课文，并完成P22 No.2的练习

二、巩固性练习

1、Read after the tape. 2、Read after the teacher. 3、同位朗读课文。

4、学生提出疑问，教师解疑。

5、小结今天所学的内容，教育学生要爱护树木，保护环境。
