一、教学目标

1.知识目标

1)学生能听懂、会说、认读并书写下列词汇:am when birthday

2)学生能认读、理解并运用下列基本的句型结构:

-How old are you?

-I’m_______years old.

When is your birthday?

2.能力目标

运用所学获得有关年龄的信息。

3.情感目标

培养学生用所学的交际用语进行交流的能力,并通过交际化语言的学习,激发学生对语言学习的热情,培养学生爱好。

二、教学重难点

1.教学重点:用How old are you?询问他人的年龄,并能用I am…作出回答。

2.教学难点:When is your birthday?

My birthday is December 17.

四、教学过程

1.warm up

T:Class begins.

S:Stand up. Good morning Miss Jing

T:Good morning class.How are you today?

S:I’m fine,thanks.And you?

T:Very well,thank you.Sit done,please.

2.review

复习12个单词和12个序数词,以及日期的表达

3.presentation

1)单词学习

am 是 I am=I’m

when 什么时候,何时

birthday 生日

用词卡展示生词并领读。对单词进行听说认读的操练。

2)(出示婴儿及蛋糕的图片)询问How old is the baby?

引导学生回答He is one year old. 并强调只有一岁时用one year old.

(出示Jerry及蛋糕图片)询问How old is Jerry?

并引导学生回答

(出示一张老人带有年龄的图片)引导学生说我67岁了。

引出重点句型并板书How old are you?

I’m________years old.

同桌运用相互问答并展示。

3)(出示婴儿及带有其生日的图片)询问When is the baby’s birthday? 引导学生回答His birthday is October 24. (出示Jerry及其生日图片)提问并引导学生回答

When is Jerry’s birthday?

His birthday is July the fifth

引出句型

When is your birthday?

My birthday is月份+序数词

同桌运用相互问答并展示。

4)Read your books and answer the questions读课文回答问题。(找同学回答)

1、How old is Danny?

2、How old is Steven?

3、When is Steven’s birthday?

4、When is Danny’s birthday?

5)pair work

小组四人一组进行讨论,提问并填写表格

1.What’s your name?

2.How old are you?

3.When is your birthday?

并找同学进行展示

6)Homework

Ask your father and monther’s birthday,and remember it.On their birthday,please say happy birthday to them.记下自己父母的生日,当他们生日的时候别忘了给他们送上生日祝福。
