教学目标:

1.知识目标:

(1)能听懂、会说、会读、会写单词happy, new, year, for, you, that, car。

(2)能听懂、会说、会读单词a ball, a CD, a robot和uncle。

(3)能听懂、会说、会读句型What’s this/that?及其应答和日常交际用语Happy New Year! This is for you.及其应答。

2.能力目标:能在现实生活中比较自如地运用本单元的句型和日常交际用语。

3.情感目标:培养学生友善相处的积极情感。

教学重点:

1.能听懂、会说、会读、会写单词happy, new, year, for, you, that, car。

2. 能听懂、会说、会读句型What’s this/that?及其应答和日常交际用语Happy New Year! This is for you.及其应答。

教学难点:

能在现实生活中比较自如地运用本单元的句型和日常交际用语。

课前准备:

准备课件、图片和玩具模型。

教学过程:

Step1 Warm-up

1. Greetings.

2. Say a rhyme ‘For you and me’.

3. Have a revision. Watch a cartoon in unit7 cartoon time.

Step2 Presentation and practice

1. Learn the new words.

T: What’s this? Guess!

Ss: It’s a…

T:L et’s have a look. Oh,It’s a car. It’s a red car.

让生模仿跟读。

2. Learn the new sentence.

a. T: What’s that?

Ss: It’s a…

T: Oh, it’s a CD.

生跟读that和Learning tip。

b. 生利用手中的图片进行操练。

3. Learn Story time.

a. T: Look at the picture, who are they?

学习Uncle John.

b. T: What are they saying?Let’s watch and answer: When is it?

c. Yes. I t’s New Year’s Day. Today we’ll learn Unit8 Happy New Year! Read the title together.

d. People usually say ‘Happy New Year!’ to each other.

生跟读模仿,然后教师与学生边做动作边说:Happy New Year!

e. People always listen and sing ‘Happy New Year’ song on New Year’’s Day.

Le t’s sing it together.

f. We always get some presents in New Year. Are you happy?

Yes. Today Helen, Mike and Tim are very happy, too. Because they get some presents from Uncle John. Let’s read and match. What presents do they get?

在核对答案的时候学习a doll, a ball, a robot。

g. How does Uncle John give the presents? What does he say? Read and underline the sentences that Uncle John said with a straight line.
