Unit4.Save the trees（Grammar）

学生对于现在进行时的用法其实并不陌生,在小学已经接触过,只是没有进行专项的归纳性学习。在本单元,教师可以系统地帮助学生温故而知新,引导学生在一定的语境中熟练运用现在进行时。

本单元围绕着“树”为话题来展开听、说、读、写的训练。本节课为语法部分现在进行时的学习，在be+V.ing结构中，学生经常会遗漏be动词或者be动词与主语人称不相对应，因此在本节课中，注意创设生活情景，刺激学生的表达动机，鼓励学生学以致用，引导学生掌握现在进行时的用法。

1. Students can master the rules of present continuous tense. 2. They can use the grammar correctly. 3. Students speaking ability is improved.

Listen to a song,students fill in the blanks. 2.

Teacher show some pictures and ask them what is everyone(in the picture) doing now? 3.

Students answer teacher “what are they doing now” this question.

Step 2: Presentation：

1.The different sentences forms. a.

We form the present continuous tense like this,students discuss the table in groups.Teachers guide students to learn affirmative and negative sentences.

We form Yes/No questions and short answers in present continuous tense like this,students discuss the table in groups.Teachers guide students to learn general questions.

c.

We form Wh-questions in present continuous tense like this,students discuss the table in groups.Teachers guide students to learn special questions.

d.

Present different kinds of forms and sentences forms of the tense to ask them to observe and summarize. 2.Present Continuous Definition

We use the present continuous tense to show that something is happening now. We also use the present continuous tense to talk about temporary situations.  Pay attention to the words what can be used in this tense.

Step3 Practice Do some exercise Present the exercises and complete in groups.

Invite students to show their answers and make a speech. (2 groups)

Check them with the answer and give remarks to themselves. Step 4 Summary. Sum up what we’ve learnt today.
