【教学内容】 4BUnit7 《What’s the matter?》Story time

【教材简解】本单元的核心教学内容是询问别人身体状况如何。Story time作为第一课时,通过故事中人物的对话，呈现本课重点句型What’s the matter? I’m… 结合单词hungry，thirsty，tired，ill及句型Come and have... / I want to .../ Can I have some ...?丰富了对话内容，使课文内容更具真实性和交际性。文本还体现了较强的人文性，教育学生懂得关心帮助他人。

【教学目标】

1.能听懂，会读，会说单词：happy, hungry, ill, thirsty, tired, sad

2.能听懂，会读，会说句子：What’s the matter?Areyou...? I’m...Can I have...?Come and have.../I want to ...

3.能正确理解并朗读对话内容，在教师的引导帮助下尝试复述并表演课文。

4.能初步运用所学单词和日常用语关心帮助他人。

教学难点：能初步运用本课所学的词汇和日常用语关心帮助他人。

【教学过程】

Step 1 Greeting & Warm up

T:Let’s enjoy a song.

(播放歌曲视频，让学生初步感知本课重点句型。)

T:What’s the matter with them?

(揭题)

Step 2 Pre-reading

T: What’s the matter with them in the song?

(板书What’s the matter?帯读)

S: They are hungry and thirsty. (板书hungry、thirsty并带读)

T: They are hungry and thirsty. What can they have?

S: They can have...

【设计意图：歌曲导入，增加趣味性，激活学生知识储备，为进一步的阅读任务做好铺垫。又借助歌曲情境，渗透文本新单词和句型，帮助学生理解并引出课题What’s the matter?由此进入Story time的学习。】

Step 3 While-reading

1. Look and say

T: Look at this picture:Who are they?Where are they?

T: Is Liu Tao happy?

S: No, he’s sad.

T:Guess:What’s the matter with Liu Tao?

S:Maybe he is … (学生猜测刘涛怎么了)

【设计意图：充分利用课文插图，引导学生观察图片，初步感知文本的情境。教学新单词 happy ,sad。鼓励发挥想象，大胆猜测“刘涛怎么了？”，激发学生的学习兴趣。】

2. Chant Let’s make a chant to ask Liu Tao.

Matter,matter,what’s the matter?

Hungry,hungry,are you hungry? Matter,matter,what’s the matter?

Thirsty,thirsty,are you thirsty? (出示单词卡片ill ,tired，引导学生改编chant。) 【设计意图：根据学生的各种猜测，自编chant,利用chant节奏明快，易于朗读的特点，帮助学生迅速掌握文本重点句型的结构和意义。】

3. Listen and choose

T:We have a lot of conjecture.What’s the matter with Liu Tao?

Let’s watch and choose. (播放课文动画)

S: He’s thirsty and tired.

【设计意图：引导学生通过观看动画，回答问题“刘涛怎么了”，帮助学生整体感知课文。】

4. Read and find

T: He’s thirsty and tired. How do you know that? Try to find the sentences in your book. (学生自读课文，划出相关句子)

S: I’m thirsty./ No, but I’m tired.

【设计意图：引导学生关注课文中的细节信息。】

5. Let’s imagine

T:What would Liu Tao like?What does Liu Tao want to do? 【设计意图：引导学生展开想象，拓展学生思维】

6. Find and read. T: Can you find the sentences which show the love of Liu Tao’s parents?

Step 4 Post-reading

(学生三人一组，编对话表演，请2-3组学生上台来反馈)

【设计意图：以续编故事的形式，为学生提供一个较真实的情境，加强课文内容的实际操练，让学生在角色扮演中学会关心帮助他人。学生可以根据自己的情况，用头饰和实物表演课文。在此过程中鼓励学生用正确的语音、语调，并配上夸张的表情动作完成任务。】

2.Act in pairs

T: We know the story of Liu Tao.Do you know them?Who are they?Are they happy?What’s the matter with them?Can you help them?Let’s make a new story of them. 【设计意图：出示一组图片，卖火柴的小女孩，三毛和丑小鸭，让孩子们观察

图片，两人一组自编对话。引导学生用本课所学的句型会去关心和帮助他人，

做到学以致用。】
