Unit8 Happy New Year Period 1 教学内容：Storytime ,

教学目标: 1.能初步听懂、会读单词：a doll, a ball, a robot，

2.能够利用Happy New Year句型进行新年问候，并且能用This is for you,What’s this/that? It’s a..句型进行互赠礼物。

3.让学生能理解中西方新年的差异。

教学重点: 1. 能够利用Happy New Year句型进行新年问候，并且能用This is for you,What’s this/that?句型进行互赠礼物

教学难点:

能用所学语言进行拜年的情景对话活动。

教学准备:多媒体课件，卡片，PPT,洋娃娃，球，圣诞老人装饰等

教学过程: Step 1. Greet each other. (1)Hello！I’m XX. What’s your name?Nice to meet you! Step 2 Classing opening （1）

Guess and sing.听Happy New Year 歌曲导入Happy New Year打招呼并问How do we celebrate Chinese New Year.?引出中国新年视频，

让学生了解中国的新年。

由新年互赠礼物引出猜单词的游戏—What’s this/that? It’s a doll/ ball/robot. 引出单词doll. ball. robot.并创设情境引出This is for you! Thank you!

(3)Play a game 操练以上单词和句型。

Step 3.Presentation

由中国的新年导入国外是怎么过新年的？导入国外新年视频从而问学生：你想知道国外的Mike 和Helen的新年吗？

(1)T:Do you want to know Mike and Helen’s New Year’s Day. Oh ,they got a lot of presents. Task 1: What are the presents from? (watch the cartoon and find out it) S: Uncle John

T:How do they greet each other? S: Happy New Year!(学着用祝福的语气说) (2)Task2: Watch and answer: What are the presents?

Who are the presents for?

S: It’s a doll, It’s a ball.It’a a robot.

Doll is for Helen. Ball is for Mike.Robot is for Tim.

(3) Fasting reading and find out “How does Uncle give to the children?

Circle the key sentences. S: This is for you!Helen .This is for you.Mike! It’s for Tim. (4) The children have got many presents.so they are happy. Can you say “Thank you uncle John” happily?（模仿孩子们高兴的语气去大声说英语）

、姚明等。

（2）Give the presents to your friends . 首先老师示范在新年之际送给班级中的某个新朋友一个礼物。然后朋友之际互赠礼物利用本课所学句型（可自由拓展）。

Step6.Homework Give the presents to your family in English.
