Pre listening: review 1a of Section A to say the feelings of Kangkang, parents and Mr. Brown to lead in 1a. 5.

While listening:

1st

listen to 1a and mark T or F (1b).

2nd

listen again and match pictures of their favorite things with the names and then answer the questions.

What opera does Maria like best?/ What movie does Jane like best?

What movie does Kangkang like ?/ What do Kangkang’s parents like?

3rd

listen, follow and write down the key points. 6.

Post listening : Try to distinguish the adjectives with “-ed” and “-ing”: First, read after the tape and conclude.

Second, fill in the blanks with correct forms of the given words.(2b) At last, listen to the tape and complete the sentences of part3 and then underline the “ linking verbs+ adjective” structure.
