This lesson is in the last unit in Book7, which is for the students in Grade 6. The topic in this unit is about feelings and cartoons. This is a new lesson mainly focusing on listening and speaking.

II. The Analysis of the Students:

The students in this class have learned English for more than5 years .They have got a small vocabulary about feelings, such as sad, happy, shy and so on . So, the topic in this lesson is familiar to them. What’s more, they’re very interested in Disney cartoons.

III. Teaching Aims and Demands:

1, Knowledge Aims:

1) Vocabulary : be afraid of , be angry with, chases and mice.

2) Sentence structure: The cat is angry with them./ They’re afraid of him./ Why? Because___.

cartoon by listening.
