一、教学目标

1．能够听说认读单词squirrel，forest，bushy, gifts, sang, shouted, threw. 2．掌握句型：What’s his hobbies? He likes reading.. 3. 能够听懂，读懂并内化Part C中的Story time的故事，掌握良好的阅读策略，提高自主学习能力

二、教学重难点：

重点：1.能够掌握本单元的三,四会词汇,句型并灵活运用到具体的语境中

2.能够听懂,读懂并内化Part C中Story time的内容. 难点：能够掌握基本阅读策略,并把本单元的词汇句型运用到具体的语境中。

三、教学过程：

Step 1. Warming-up

Play a guessing game Step 2.Lead-in

观看英文电影冰河世纪关于松鼠尾巴的视频片段，为本文的故事做铺垫，并激发学生学习本故事的兴趣。

Step 3. Task1. Individual work 1.

Students read the story quickly by themselves.

Finish the questions and check the answers with the class. Step 4. Task2. Group work

Divide the whole class into two groups and discuss these questions。

Group 1

1. What did Zac do when the monkey was reading? 2. Why was the monkey

so angry ?

Group 2

1.What are Zac’s

hobbies? 2.What did the monkey do when he was angry ? Step 6. Listening

Listen to the story picture by picture. Step 7. Pair work 1.Act as the little squirrels and the monkey king. 2.Get to know the past form of the verbs. 3.Ask the Ss two questions:Why does Zac’s tail become bushy?

Why does Zac’s like his new tail? Step 8.

Fill in the blanks:the students fill in the blanks to consolidate what they have learned in this story.

Step 9.小小播音员，为故事配音

播放视频让学生为故事配音，改进学生语音语调。

Step 10.Show time

三人为一小组协作表演故事，比一比哪一组最棒. Step 10. Homework
